Providing shelter to those in need!
Staff works one-on one with each guest to determine the best strategy for complete life restoration and an eventual transition back into society.

- Overnight shelter from 5pm to 7am
- 240 beds
The Mission at Kern County provides the following for over 200 homeless men on a daily basis:
- Safe overnight shelter
- Laundry service
- 3-meals each day
- Comprehensive case management services
- Access to job readiness training
In 2013, the Kern County Point-in-Time Homeless Count (Homeless Census) revealed that, on any given night of the year, there are 1,158 local people living in homelessness.
About 87% (1,008) of all homeless are found in the Metropolitan Bakersfield area; about 13% (150) are found in rural communities.
